Baburam Bhattarai is a seasoned healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and institutional builder with extensive experience across Nepal’s medical, pharmaceutical, and social sectors. With a strong academic foundation including a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Diploma in Naturopathy & Yogic Science (DYNS), he blends administrative expertise with a holistic understanding of healthcare systems.

He currently serves as Director of Crimson College of Technology & Hospital, contributing to the advancement of medical education and healthcare services. His leadership footprint extends across multiple prominent institutions. He is the former President of the Nepal Chemists & Druggists Association (Central Committee), where he played a key role in strengthening regulatory coordination and professional standards within the pharmaceutical distribution network.

Mr. Bhattarai has also served as Chairman of Lumbini Zonal Hospital, demonstrating strong governance capabilities in public healthcare management. His involvement with the Nepal Red Cross Society (Central Committee) as a past member reflects his long-standing commitment to humanitarian service.

An entrepreneur at heart, he is Chairman of Mirmire Drug House Pvt. Ltd. and previously served as Managing Director of Nepal Remedies, contributing to the growth and professionalization of Nepal’s domestic pharmaceutical industry.
