Shreeya Aryal

Shreeya Aryal is a finance professional with a strong track record in corporate credit research, investment analysis, and fund leadership, spanning institutions in the United States and Nepal. She also currently serves as Head of Investments at Chanakya Funds Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu, where she oversees the fund's investment strategy, engages with executives and industry leaders to source attractive opportunities, and builds financial models and frameworks that guide decision-making.

Prior to this, she worked as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Robert W. Baird in Milwaukee, covering investment-grade and high-yield credit across building materials, consumer products, and lodging and leisure sectors representing over $3 billion in invested assets. She held a similar role at Nationwide Life Insurance Company in Columbus, Ohio, covering global investment-grade corporate research across retailers, consumer products, and restaurants, and assisting in standardizing financial models across the coverage universe. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Jr. Research and Finance Analyst at Asian Securities Private Limited in Kathmandu, and completed research internships at Nepal Rastra Bank (Nepal's central bank) and the Asian Development Bank headquarters in Manila.

She holds a Specialized Master in Finance (STEM-designated) from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business and a B.A. in Finance from Albion College. Her technical skills include financial modeling, Bloomberg Market Concepts, Capital IQ, R, and SQL.
